1. Placing an order

1.1 Order terms

When you place an order at yuaiahaircare.com, we will send you an electronic confirmation by email. This will contain relevant information about your purchase. The order confirmation will be proof that we have received your order and that we have entered into a binding agreement. We reserve the right to change or cancel the order if the information you have provided is not correct.

1.2 Incorrect information in order

If you have provided incomplete or incorrect information (e.g. delivery address or email) when placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@yuaiahaircare.com. This will allow us to correct your order so that it can be dispatched correctly.

However, if incorrect information has been entered and this is not corrected in time, and the parcel is sent to the wrong address, it is your own responsibility. Yuaia Haircare does not replace parcels sent to incorrect addresses and does not cover the costs of re-sending parcels (e.g. payment of postage or new delivery costs) due to incorrect information when placing the order.

 

2. Payment terms and conditions

Yuaia Haircare accepts payment with VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard, JCB, Paypal, Google Pay and Apple Pay. We do not charge card fees. Payment will only be charged to your account when the item is dispatched.

All amounts are in EUR or foreign currency and are incl. VAT.

Yuaia Haircare uses an approved payment server that encrypts all your card details with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that your information cannot be read.

 

3. Terms of delivery

3.1 Delivery providers

Yuaia Haircare delivers on all weekdays, with orders placed before 12.00 PM. 

We deliver with GLS, DHL, Hermes, PostNL, Bring or TNT.

Parcel prices will vary country by country and will be listed on the checkout page.

We offer free delivery to some countries. If your country applies, it will be stated on the checkout page.

Other delivery providers and parcel prices for purchases will be listed in the delivery overview at checkout.

3.2 Delivery time

Yuaia Haircare ApS packs orders every day of the year and usually dispatches your order the same day if you order is placed before 14:00. The delivery time depends on the chosen delivery method and provider (see section 3.1 above for the different options). Delivery time varies from 2 to 5 days.

Yuaia Haircare ApS will inform you via the email address provided when your order will be dispatched and provide an estimated delivery time. Please note that estimated delivery times are for guidance only and may vary during busy periods.

If you order multiple products, your order will usually be dispatched together. If this is the case, the product with the longest delivery time will determine the total delivery time for your order.

Please note that longer delivery times may occur for pre-order products if they are sold out. If you place an order with pre-order items, you can see the expected dispatch or delivery date on the relevant product page.

If the parcel locker/store you have selected is full, your order will be delivered to a nearby parcel locker/store.

4.1 Buying subscription products at Yuaia Haircare ApS

You have the option to select products to delivered automatically and on an ongoing subscription basis from Yuaia Haircare ApS. Signing up for a subscription is completely free and you get a fixed 10% discount on all subscription products. Purchasing products on subscription is always optional, and you will not be signed up without choosing to do so. All products can be purchased as one-off purchases by default. The subscription is an extra service we offer, and it is also possible to combine a purchase with both subscription and non-subscription products.

Benefits of a subscription:

  • Fixed 10% discount on all subscription products
  • Automatic and continuous delivery of your subscription products so you never run out
  • No lock-in period, so you can cancel your subscription at any time
  • No unexpected charges
  • Easy self-service if you want to make changes to your subscription

    How the subscription works:

    • Find the products you want to subscribe to (the website will show which products can be subscribed to)
    • Choose how often you want the products delivered
    • Add the products to your basket and pay for your purchase as normal

      4.2 Payment

      4.4 Binding period

      There is no binding subscription period and you can easily cancel or pause your subscription at any time via your login. If you have any problems with this, you can always contact us at info@yuaiahaircare.com

       

      4.5 Cancellation

      The subscription can be cancelled at any time. If the next order has been shipped when the cancellation is received, this order must be paid for and the subscription will be cancelled immediately afterwards.

      Orders are dispatched 1-2 days after a subscription has been activated. 

      You can easily and conveniently cancel your subscription on our website via your login or by writing to us at info@yuaiahaircare.com.

       

      4.6 Special terms and conditions

      Subscription benefits will be cancelled if you cancel or pause your subscription.

       

      4.7 Right of cancellation

      As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of cancellation when you shop with us.

      The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day we have made the contract.

      The deadline means that you have 14 days from the day of the agreement to notify us that you want to cancel. You can send an email to info@yuaiahaircare.com or use the standard cancellation form, which you can find at the bottom of the terms and conditions page.

       

      4.8 Returns

      Once you have notified us that you want to cancel your purchase, you have 14 days to send the item back to us. It is important that you include a note or other document with the order number and reason for return so that we can process your return.

      You must pay for the return of the parcel yourself, and you are liable if damage occurs during transport.

       

      4.8.1 The condition of the item when you return it

      If the item has lost value because you have used it in a way other than what was necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item, you can only get a partial refund of the purchase amount. The amount you can get back depends on the commercial value of the item, and in some cases this may mean that you can only get back the shipping costs.

      We recommend that you return the item in its original packaging.

      If the original packaging is missing, it could possibly result in a decrease in the value of the item.

       

      4.9 Refund policy

      If you cancel your purchase, you will get your money back.

      However, if you have given your consent for the delivery to begin and you still wish to cancel, please note that we will charge a reasonable payment for the part of the subscription that has already been delivered[ii].

      We will refund the amount to you without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we have received notification of your cancellation. We will refund the money using the same means of payment that you used for the purchase, unless we have agreed otherwise.

       

      4.10 If something is wrong with your subscription

      If you are not satisfied with your subscription, please contact us at info@yuaiahaircare.com

      The Danish Sale of Goods Act does not apply to subscriptions.

      Whether you have a 2-year warranty under EU law therefore depends on what is to be delivered under the subscription agreement:

       

      4.11 Delivery of goods

      When goods are delivered, you have a 24-month warranty. Contact us before you send the item.

      If your complaint is justified, this means that you can either have the item repaired, exchanged, refunded or a reduction in price, depending on the specific situation.

      You must complain within a "reasonable time" after you have discovered the defect. If you complain within two months of discovering the defect, the complaint will always be considered timely.

       

      4.12 Debit right on your card

      You can revoke your authorisation for us to debit an amount from your card at any time.

      You can also object to "unauthorised charges" to your card provider, but no later than 8 weeks after the charge, unless otherwise stated in your agreement with your card provider.

       

      5. Cancellation, returns and exchanges

      5.1 Right of cancellation 

      Consumers are granted a 14-day full right of cancellation on goods purchased from us.

      The period starts from the day you receive the order. If you have ordered several different items in one order, but they are delivered individually, the period runs from the day you receive the last item.

      Return costs are your responsibility.

      Cancellation must be notified to us within 14 days of receipt and you must return the shipment within 14 days of cancellation.

      If you cancel the purchase or wish to exchange a product, the product must be returned to the following address:

      The notification must be given by email at info@yuaiahaircare.dk or by using the standard cancellation form, which you will find at the bottom of the terms and conditions page. In the notification, you must clearly inform us that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation.

      You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the goods without notifying us at the same time.

       

      5.2 Cancellation of part of the purchase

      If you have purchased multiple items from us, you have the option to return one or more items, even if they were purchased in one order.

      Please note that you will not be refunded the shipping costs if you cancel part of your purchase.

       

      5.3 Returns

      Once you have notified us that you want to cancel your purchase, you have 14 days to send the item back to us. It is important that you include a note or other document with the order number and reason for return so that we can process your return.

      You must pay for the return of the parcel yourself, and you are liable if damage occurs during transport.

      For unclaimed parcels, we charge a return fee of 15 EUR deducted from the total purchase price.

      Please also note that we do not pick up return parcels in parcel shops.

      5.4 No right of cancellation

      These agreements cannot be cancelled:

      Delivery of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and where the seal has been broken after delivery.

       

      5.5 The condition of the item when you return it

      You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. In other words - you can try the item in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store.

      If the item has been tried in addition to what is described above, we consider it as used, which means that in the event of cancellation of the purchase, you will only receive a part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the item, and in some cases it may mean that you can only get the shipping costs back.

      In order to receive a full refund, you must do the same as you would in a physical store. You can test the item, but not actually use it.

      For unclaimed goods, you must contact us. In this case, the purchase amount and delivery costs will be refunded, minus the postage we are charged by the shipping company for the return shipment.

      5.6 Refund of the purchase amount

      If you cancel your purchase, you will get your money back. If the item has depreciated in value, we will deduct the amount you are liable for.

      We will refund all payments received from you, excluding delivery costs, within 14 days from the day we receive your notification of cancellation.

      We will refund the money using the same means of payment you used for the purchase, unless we have agreed otherwise.

      We may withhold payment until we have received the item, unless you send us proof of return.

      6. Right of complaint

      6.1 Terms and conditions for complaints

      The provisions of the Consumer sales and guarantees directive on complaints and defects apply to purchases of products made through www.yuaiahaircare.com.

      According to EU law, you have a 2-year warranty from receipt of the product.

      It is important to remember to complain within a "reasonable time" after you have discovered the defect in the product. If you complain within two months of discovering the fault or defect, the complaint will always be considered timely.

      If your complaint is justified, this means that you can demand that the product is repaired, replaced, the price reduced or the money refunded, depending on the specific situation.

      If you for instance have had an allergic reaction to active ingredients that are clearly marked on the product or the product page or in situations where there is nothing wrong with the product, is not a defect covered by the right of complaint.

      6.2 How do I complain?

      If you wish to complain about a product, please contact info@yuaiahaircare.com. Please send us your order number, a picture of the product and a description of the fault. We will initially decide whether the product should be sent back.

      If we need to investigate the product further, you will need to send it back to us and you will have to pay for the return costs in the first instance. If the complaint is subsequently approved, you will be reimbursed for the cost of returning the defective product (within reason). You should keep a receipt for the cost of returning the product(s) as it is important in these cases.

      If your complaint is not accepted, we will send the product back to you and you will not be reimbursed for the shipping you paid in connection with your complaint.

      7. 30-day satisfaction guarantee

      Are you not satisfied?

      Our greatest desire is to help you achieve the hair of your dreams. We believe in our products and take pride in their quality. If you are not satisfied with your experience with our products, we offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. This means that if, for example, you don't like the taste of our hair vitamins, don't like the smell of a shampoo or simply don't think the product lives up to your expectations, we'll give you a full refund (excluding delivery costs if you've received free shipping).

       

      How to use your satisfaction guarantee:

    • Print and fill out the Return Form
    • Help us get better. Your opinion and feedback is incredibly important to us! That's why we ask you to print and fill out our Returns Form and include it with the product(s) you wish to return. Download the form here.

    • Send the parcel back
    • If you wish to take advantage of our 30-day satisfaction guarantee, you must return the product within 30 days of the purchase date. You are responsible for the return costs and the parcel must be sent to the following address:

      Please note that we do not pick up returns in parcel shops. We also recommend that you use a shipping method that includes a tracking link, as we do not refund products that have been lost in transit.

      Our 30-day satisfaction guarantee only applies to purchases made at yuaiahaircare.com and does not apply if you buy through one of our many retailers.

      9. Processing of personal data

      We need the following information when you shop with us:

      Name, address, phone number and email address.

      We register and disclose the personal data that is necessary to be able to deliver the product to you.

      The personal data is registered with Yuaia Haircare and stored for five years, after which the data is deleted.

      We also collaborate with a number of other companies that store and process data. These companies only process data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

      We only work with data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide adequate protection for your data.

      If you believe that the information is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected. In some cases, we are obliged to delete your personal data if you request it.       Our terms and conditions were last updated on 19 July 2024. We reserve the right to update our terms and conditions from time to time. If there are changes to the terms and conditions that are not in favour of consumers, we will notify you in accordance with legal requirements.
